A hayfield, apparently. Like most things, hay is carried on the head.

Coal is used extensively for cooking. Lumps are broken up by hand, of course.

At train stations, vendors quickly board and race through the cars, offering food, drinks, souvenoirs & toys.

A cowyard in the country

 

Cow dung is also used for fuel. Here the hand-shaped patties dry before use.
