Here's Gabe kicking butt on the trail (the trail's butt, not that guy...). He climbed out in the same amount of time as it took to walk down, whereas they tell you to allow twice as much time for the return climb. Lou/Bill observed this latter rule. No choice in the matter --it was tough. |
Grand Canyon is, well, really big. The sunsets and sunrises can be spectacular, as the light makes somea areas glow and throws others into deep shadow. We got up early and set up the tripod to get som wonderful shots. Then we took that long steep walk down Bright Angel Trail.
Sorry, this is IT for Grand Canyon pictures. All those sunrise shots, jaw-dropping perspectives, dusty mule trains, dramatic rock formations and such were lost in a film-loading error... |
